The display is built for touch, but it works from a keyboard too — useful on a monitor with no touch screen, or with a bump bar that sends key presses.

A new order still needs Accept tapped on the screen. Enter and Space do not accept it.
Lead Times only matters if your ordering system lets the kitchen change lead times. When it does, the sidebar shows a TIMES button too. See Change lead times for online orders from the display.
Shortcuts are ignored while you are typing in a box, so you can enter a rejection reason without triggering anything. They also do nothing while a licence message covers the screen — see A licence message covers the screen.
On a touch screen the shortcut list is hidden from the in-app Help panel, since it does not apply. The keys still work if a keyboard is attached.
