Retired (October 2026). The portal no longer prints to the Android Quick Printer, and the Android Printer tab is gone. Print from the POS or kiosk, or through CloudPRNT: see Set up a Star CloudPRNT docket or label printer.
Settings → Android Printer. Admin only, and the Android quick printing module has to be enabled for your store.
The setting
There is one field:
- Printer Name* — "Default Printer Name is 'receipt'. You can check/set Printer Name in the Android Quick Printer app."
Enter the name exactly as the app shows it, then select Save Changes.
Printing an order
Once configured, every order on the Orders screen gets a Print button in its main button row, alongside Preparing, Ready and Complete.
If nothing prints
- Check the Printer Name in the portal matches the one in the Android Quick Printer app exactly, including case.
- Check the app is running on the device and has not been closed by Android's battery saver.
- Check the device is awake and on the network.
More than one printer
The single-name form covers one printer. Multi-printer Android setups are configured for you — contact support.
