The portal is one page with tabs across the top and a grid of shortcut tiles on the Dashboard. Both do the same thing — the tiles are simply larger.
The tabs
| Tab | What it opens |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | The tile grid and your setup checklist |
| Orders | Live orders awaiting fulfilment, with a count badge |
| Catering | Catering orders, if catering is switched on for your store |
| Menu Builder | Menu items, groups, modifiers, promotion codes, trading hours |
| Customers | Your customer list, plus Add Customer, Import and Export |
| Reports | Sales Summary, order reports, transactions, invoices |
| Customer Announcements | Push, SMS and email campaigns |
| QR Codes | Table and promo QR codes |
| Users | Staff logins |
| Settings | Everything else |
Customer Announcements, QR Codes, Users and Settings are not in the tab bar until you open them once — reach them from the Dashboard tiles the first time.
The status bar
Along the top of every screen:
- Your store name and suburb, which returns you to the Dashboard.
- A badge reading OPEN or CLOSED. Select it to reveal Open Store or Close Store — see Open or close your store for online orders.
- The current date and time as the portal sees it.
- Help, which offers Knowledgebase — this help centre — and Contact Support.
- Logout.
Why your portal may look different to another merchant's
Most of the portal is switched on per store. Two things decide what you see.
Your modules. Catering, delivery areas and slots, pickup locations, stock control, wholesale ordering, standing orders, customer import and export, QR codes, promotion codes, loyalty schemes, kiosk ordering and each printer type are all enabled per store. Where a module is off, the screen usually still exists and shows a note such as "The Customer Import module is not enabled on your account" with a contact us link.
Whether you are an Admin. A user whose Admin setting is No never sees Settings, Users, Billing, POS Integration, printers, email and SMS settings, or the setup checklist. Those controls are removed from the page entirely rather than greyed out, so there is nothing to click. The Dashboard shows such a user a Change Password tile where an admin sees Users.
The portal version is shown in the footer next to Merchant Portal V. Quote it when you contact support.
